INTRODUCTION
Plant Genetic Resources: Success Stories documents specific examples where plant conservation and breeding efforts were successfully used to address critical agricultural needs. Each chapter documents a different success. Chapters can be accessed in any order by selecting “Contents” in the upper left corner and expanding each section to access chapter titles. Chapters can also be navigated by using arrows at the bottom of each page. Material may be used free of charge, in the online format, for personal use or for trainings and courses for students and/or employees.
This eBook is being developed through a collaboration between Iowa State University, Colorado State University, and the USDA Agricultural Research Service, with additional funding from the USDA-NIFA-Higher Education Challenge Grant (2020-70003-303930). This eBook will continue to grow as more success stories are documented, and as time and resources allow. Additional success stories can be submitted for consideration for inclusion in this eBook.
